Please kindly read these Terms and Conditions before finally you consider booking with Komodo Group Tour.
Agreement:
By joining the tour, participants confirm they’ve read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out – we’re here to help!
Pick-Up and Drop-Off:
Our pick-up service is designed to make your trip as smooth as possible, covering transfers between hotels and the airport. Please keep in mind that there might be slight delays at times, as our driver may be assisting other participants on the way to the meeting point (harbor). Rest assured, your pick-up is already on the schedule, and we’re committed to getting to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Changing the Boat:
We want to ensure your trip runs smoothly, but under certain circumstances, we may need to switch to a different boat. Here’s what you should know:
- Minimum Participant Quota:
During the low season, if the minimum participant quota for a boat isn’t met, we may need to move your booking to another boat. Don’t worry – if this happens, we’ll ensure the new boat is comparable in price. This change usually happens just before the tour begins, so we’ll do our best to make the transition as seamless as possible. - Unexpected Engine Troubles:
While we take every precaution to prepare and maintain our boats, unforeseen engine issues can occasionally arise. If this happens, your tour won’t be canceled – instead, we’ll arrange for another boat to take you on your adventure.
Thank you for your understanding, and we’ll always prioritize your experience and satisfaction!
Total Number of Participants:
The number of participants on each boat is based on the number of cabins available, as detailed in the boat documents and price list we’ve provided.
Booking and Payment:
To secure your spot, a 30% down payment is required, which can be made to the owner’s bank account. The remaining balance is due either within 7 days before departure or on the morning of boarding. We’re happy to offer flexible payment options in certain situations – just let us know!
Participant Identification:
For a smooth check-in process at the main port, we kindly ask all participants to provide official photo identification (like a KTP or Passport) for verification purposes.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that plans can change, but please note that the down payment is non-refundable if a participant cancels or the trip is canceled. We kindly ask all participants
Responsibility:
While we do our best to ensure a great experience during the scheduled trip hours, we kindly remind participants to stay cautious and mindful outside of these hours, as we are not responsible for any incidents that may occur.
Tour Cancellation:
In rare cases where the tour must be canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, we will fully refund your down payment.
Equipment Responsibility:
We kindly ask participants to take care of the snorkeling equipment provided. Any loss or damage will be the participant’s responsibility.
Early Conclusion:
On occasion, the tour may wrap up earlier on the last day due to flight schedule changes. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility if this happens.
Accommodations: The accommodations during your tour are designed to embrace the spirit of adventure and nature. Most of the places you’ll stay, including hotels and boats, offer simple, clean, and comfortable spaces that help you connect with the surrounding beauty of nature. While the accommodations are basic, they provide a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the wilderness. Keep in mind, this tour is meant for those who love an adventurous experience, so if you’re looking for luxury or extravagance, this might not be the right fit.
Travel Insurance: We highly recommend that all participants get travel insurance from a trusted provider in your home country. It’s important to have coverage for things like medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and travel-related incidents. Please note that travel insurance is not included in the tour package, so it’s up to each participant to make sure they’re covered for any unexpected situations during their trip.
Limitation and Responsibility: As your tour guide and organizer, we’re here to make your experience in Flores as enjoyable and memorable as possible. That said, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- While we do our best to ensure a smooth and seamless tour, we can’t be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay to your personal belongings.
- Flight schedules, including delays or cancellations, are beyond our control, so we can’t take responsibility for any issues that arise with them.
- While we hope for the best, in the unlikely event of accidents, including injuries or worse, we cannot be held accountable.
- Natural disasters or unexpected weather conditions are also out of our hands. While we’ll do our best to adjust plans, we encourage participants to be ready for any changes or challenges that might arise.
By joining the tour, you acknowledge and accept these limitations of responsibility. While we’re dedicated to ensuring your safety and satisfaction, there are some things that are just beyond our control.
We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to offer you an unforgettable and enriching adventure through the stunning landscapes of Labuan Bajo. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out—we’re here to help!
Best and kind regards,
